I've lost 1.5 lbs. I deleted most of the old posts, but I kept some yummy recipe posts.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;I've been hovering at my highest weight ever and I'm not happy about it.  I am stuck in a rut.  An infinate loop.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;I'm depressed.&lt;br /&gt;I eat.&lt;br /&gt;I feel fat.&lt;br /&gt;I sit on the couch all day long too depressed to do aything else.&lt;br /&gt;I'm depressed.&lt;br /&gt;I eat.....&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;You get the idea.  I gained the extra weight starting with my motorcycle accident in November 2009.  I had a broken foot (and a broken wrist) so the weight went on easily.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;But then I continued to gain.  I've hovered at 175 for months now, unable to lose.  I eat too much and I exercise too little.  I know I'm depressed about it and I know it's a horrible cycle.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;It's time to snap out of it.  It was easy to be overweight... my husband was.  But wow, he's losing weight fast and getting more and more fit and feeling awesome about himself and I'm still overweight. Sick kitty consumed all of my Wed night and most of my Thursday and Friday.  She's still taking a bit of time today just to keep an eye on her to make sure she's keeping up on her water.  Giving her meds was much more successful today with hubby's help.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Yesterday the kitty followed me around everywhere.  She and I (and the kitten) finally collapsed on the couch to veg out.  But needless to say another week has gone by with no exercise.  Not even very many smoothies.  Ugh.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Made a great one today though.  Thought I would share:&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;1/2 cup FF Yogurt (2 pts)&lt;br /&gt;1/2 cup 1% milk (1 pt)&lt;br /&gt;3/4 cup pineapple (1 pt)&lt;br /&gt;3/4 cup blueberries (1 pt)&lt;br /&gt;1/2 frozen banana (1 pt)&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Interesting and very yummy.  Umm, well I didn't eat this one.  Hahaha kiddo and hubby stole it.  Mine, well I just used a few less blueberries and tossed in some raspberries. I'll guess.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;2 cups frozen broccoli / cauliflower veggies (0 pts)(maybe 1)&lt;br /&gt;1 can ff low sodium chicken broth (about 2 cups) (0 pts)&lt;br /&gt;1 can campbells cheese soup (6 pts)&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Boil veggies in the chicken broth.  Put in blender and puree.  Put back in pot and add cheese soup. Mix and warm it up. But not near as much as the earlier one.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;1 cup low fat plain yogurt (goofed last week) (4 pts)&lt;br /&gt;3/4 cup raspberries (1 pt)&lt;br /&gt;3/4 cup blueberries (1 pt)&lt;br /&gt;3/4 cup frozen fruit mix (it was mostly grapes) (1 pt)&lt;br /&gt;1 banana (2 pts)&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;I split this with my kiddo (his is in a fancy cup from carnival cruises) so It's about 4.5 points.  Yum!  Just a hint of tartness.  I hope he likes his at lunch.  I'll keep you tuned.  &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;I was thinking the bigger I make them the yummier they seem to be.  1 blueberry makes less of a taste difference in a 2 cup smoothie as opposed to a 1/2 cup smoothie.  That theory.  So I might start making them bigger and then splitting in 2 containers for lunch.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;As long as I remember to take it out the night before to thaw it for the next day, I'm good to go! I'm making faces right now, the one I'm having is TART.  But using ff plain yogurt, it's the best one so far.  If you like tart.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;1 cup FF plain yogurt (3 pts)&lt;br /&gt;1 cup frozen raspberries (1 pt)&lt;br /&gt;3/4 cup frozen blueberriess (1 pt)&lt;br /&gt;1 banana (2 pts)&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Yes, this is a 7 point smoothie.  I'm using them as a meal replacement so 7 isn't too bad.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;I found when I tried to make a 4 or 5 pt smoothie, I had more trouble getting the taste ok. YUM.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;I start with low fat yogurt (2 pts).  I either use Mixed Berry or Strawberry or Raspberry typically.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Then I add 1/2 cup fruut (1 pt).  My grocery store has frozen fruit and even has a mix made "great for smoothies".  That one has mangos, pineapple and strawberries (and I'm sure some others.  I buy a strawberr and a raspberry.  And then I buy the blueberries/blackberries (last time I got all blueberries cause they were out of that one).  So I toss in a 1/2 cup fruit of any kind.  I mix and match.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Then I add just under 1/2 cup 1% milk (1 pt).  Here is my reason for not skim.  First, I buy the 1% for cappucinos on the weekend.  It was so much cheaper to buy a gallon rather than a 1/2 gallon that I now like 1% milk in cereal!  So that means I think I can move to Skim soon enough.  I hope it tasts ok in the cappucinos.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;If you are keeping track we are up to 4 pts.  I then add 1/2 a banana (1 pt).  I need potassium and I just like the texture it gives my smoothies.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;So that is a 5 point smoothie.  It's a bit high for me since I only get 20 pts a day though.  So I have been using 1/2 frozen banana and leaving out the milk for a 4 pt smoothie.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;My goodness are they YUM and healthy!  &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;My son asked me last week if there was anything bad for me in there (like added sugar) and when I told him no he exclaimed "Well how can you stand it then?"  I had him taste some and he thought it was rather yummy.
